Good Hair Day

If it takes more than 3 minutes to dry my hair, it means that it's time for a haircut. I used to go to Fix salon to have my haircut, but a few months ago, I decided to go to another salon, my officemate had her hair cut at Menage salon in Gateway. Her cut was nicely done and she said the service was really good. So i tried it and yes, the service was good, it's much closer to my crib, the price is reasonable for a haircut, the stylist was able to cut my hair the way i want it. I feel more pampered on Menage, there's free iced tea and a little massage from the shampoo lady while you're waiting for your stylist. I've read some blogs on the internet that they weren't happy with the service and the haircut that they got from Menage salon. I've never had a bad experience yet, probably because i don't go there during their peak hours (hate crowded malls), i usually make an appointment during weekdays so i don't have to wait that long. To avoid a bad haircut, make sure that you tell the stylist what you really want, let them suggest but don't let them decide for you. Remember you're going to be stuck with that haircut until your hair grows back again. Bring a photo so they'll get an idea on how you want your hair to be styled. Just make sure that you're expectations are already set before you bring the photo, if you bring a photo of Brad Pitt to copy his haircut, don't expect that you'll look like Brad Pitt after the haircut. Hairstylists are people, don't expect a miracle.
