INT. DUANE'S BEDROOM-NIGHT

Alvy sighs and sits down, leaning his arm on Duane's dresser. Duane's face is big lighted by a single lamp.

DUANE: I tell you this because, as an artist, I think you'll understand. Sometimes when I'm driving ... on the road at night ... I see two headlights coming toward me. Fast. I have this sudden impulse to turn the wheel quickly, head-on into the oncoming car. I can anticipate the explosion. The sound of shattering glass. The ... flames rising out of the flowing gasoline.

ALVY: (Reacting and clearing his throat) Right. Tsch, well, I have to-I have t-o go now, Duane, because I-I'm due back on the planet earth.

(The next scene is funnier because Duane is driving Annie and Alvy to the airport)

EXT. ROAD - NIGHT

Duane, behind the wheel, stares straight ahead. It is raining very hard, the windshield wipers are moving quickly. The headlights of another car brightens the interior of Duane's car as the camera shows first Duane, then Annie, then Alvy tensely staring straight ahead.

To Text or not to Text

I'm flirting with a girl who likes sending or (communicating through) text (sms) messages, she's flirting back but the problem is i'm not really a big fan of text messages. It's practical and convenient but I'm too lazy and impatient to send text messages. If i communicate with family or friends by sending more than 5 sms (text messages), i'll be dialing their number before they can send their reply. And when i forward a quote or a joke, you can bet that one of the reply i'll get is "Wow, it's a miracle". I usually forward quotes or jokes to keep in touch with friends without really expecting a reply, there's less pressure in forwarding messages than actually sending an sms message to ask "how are you doing?" or "I'm thinking of you" and all the other stuff. Sigh.
