Sex and the City moment

I was trying to google my friend’s name and I just remembered one of our unforgettable conversation.

INT – GOTH CLUB – SAN DIEGO – NIGHT

This was back in 1998, when I was taking a Digital Graphic Design certificate course in San diego, CA. The people I hang out with were mostly Europeans and we usually go clubbing Saturday night or hang out at Wayne’s apartment. Wayne is my friend’s (let’s just call her D.R.) boyfriend (at that time). After meeting at Wayne’s apartment we decided to go clubbing, we ended up at a Goth’s club (name escapes me right now). So while we’re waiting for the rest of the guys. Wayne decided to get us some drinks and while waiting for him D.R. and I started talking

Jedi: So how are you and Wayne?

D.R.: Okay I guess...(polish accent)

Jedi: Why? Something wrong?

D.R: Nothing, well, not with him…we’re okay, but lately, when he’s asking for some…I’m not really in the mood.

Jedi: Why? Is there someone else?

D.R.: Nah, kinda (smiles)…I’ve been spending a lot of time with my dildo lately (now with a serious look on her face)

Jedi: (laughs)

D.R.: No, I’m not kidding,I just want to stay home and not go over to his place anymore

Jedi: Man! Poor Wayne.

D.R.: I think I’ve fallen in love with my dildo

Jedi and D.R.: (now we’re both laughing)

Wayne comes back with our beers.
